Astor Energy Signs Contracts for Two Large Power Transformers in Istanbul

Foreks - Astor Enerji (IS:ASTOR) A.Ş has signed an agreement for the supply of two 125 MVA, 220/30 kV power transformers to be used in a solar energy project with British Petroleum's Spanish subsidiary CASTIINVERSIONES RENOVABLES, S.L. The manufacturing of the transformers is planned to be completed in 8 months, with shipment scheduled for June 2025. Astor Enerji continues to increase its investments and shipments in Spain. Through this collaboration, undertaken to meet the growing demand in Spain, Astor Enerji aims to enhance its presence in Europe. Alişan Taştan, Deputy General Manager of Astor Enerji, stated regarding the agreement: “Our production capacity and superior engineering strength have made us a preferred choice in domestic and international markets, especially in power generation facilities. Clients who choose our products gain the advantage of bringing energy production facilities online in a significantly shorter timeframe, considerably reducing the payback period of projects.
