Ferudun Canbay Appointed Deputy General Manager at Anadolubank

In a recent restructuring within Anadolubank's management team, Ferudun Canbay has been appointed as the Deputy General Manager. With this new formation, Canbay will oversee the management of the bank's critical units.

Ferudun Canbay brings 28 years of experience in the sector, having started his banking career in 1997 as an Assistant Inspector in the Audit Committee of Yapı Kredi Bank (IS:YKBNK). He has held various managerial positions at Yapı Kredi Bank, Eurobank Tekfen, and Burgan Bank. Joining Anadolubank in 2017 as a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee, Canbay successfully performed the roles of Deputy General Manager of Financial Affairs and Board Member. He also served on the Board of Directors of Anadolubank Nederland NV and Anadolu Investment Securities Inc., which are subsidiaries of Anadolubank.

Appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Anadolubank in December 2024, Canbay will manage critical areas of the bank, including Human Resources, Strategic Planning and Digital Banking, Credit Monitoring and Administrative Oversight, Legal Advisory, Corporate Communication, and Procurement. Canbay will also continue to serve as a board member in the subsidiaries and affiliates within Anadolubank and will be responsible for the coordination of these companies. This new restructuring aims to manage the bank's strategic and operational processes in a more integrated and effective manner.
