Codelco's Copper Production Surpasses Previous Year's Levels in 2024

Forex - Codelco, the world's largest metal producer based in Chile, is expected to have copper production "slightly higher" in 2024 compared to the previous year. Codelco's President Maximo Pacheco stated in a local media interview that production has increased by approximately 3,000 to 4,000 tons. The President also mentioned that the company anticipates receiving binding offers for the Maricunga lithium project in the first quarter of 2025.
