Istanbul Stock Exchange Starts the Day Flat: Which Stocks Stand Out at the Opening?
The BIST 100 index started the day at 10,079.29 points, down by 0.06%. During yesterday's trading, the BIST 100 reached a low of 10,063.24 and a high of 10,159.14 points, closing with a 0.10% increase at 10,085.50 points. Consequently, the index's price in dollar terms reached 285.28 dollars.
In sector indices, factoring stood out while sports declined. Overall, 53 sectoral and national indices completed the day with gains, while 12 indices recorded losses. The index with the highest increase was factoring, which rose by 4.90%. Conversely, the index with the most significant loss was sports, which fell by 3.73%.
Out of the 100 stocks included in the index, 57 gained value while 42 lost value. The total trading volume amounted to 103.4 billion TL (2.93 billion dollars), accounting for 73.82% of the total trading volume of the exchange.

In the domestic currency market and gold prices, the Dollar/TL remains steady at 35.32. Euro/TL increased by 0.43% to 36.82, while the price of gram gold rose by 0.2% to 2,998 TL.
In foreign markets, Asian indices ended the day generally with a buyer-dominated outlook. In Europe, a positive atmosphere prevailed except for the Euro Stoxx 50. In the US, the Dow Jones index closed lower, while other indices performed positively. In the morning hours, US and European futures indices are showing a downward trend.
