In November 2024, the number of individuals subject to legal action due to personal loan or credit card debt increased compared to the same month of the previous year. According to an announcement from TBB, the number of individuals who faced legal action due to personal credit card debt was 1.237 million in the January-November 2024 period; the number of individuals under legal action due to personal loan debt during the same period was 1.039 million.

In the January-November 2024 period, the number of individuals facing legal measures due to personal loans or personal credit card debt increased by 39% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 1.664 million.

As of November 2024, the Negative Qualitative Personal Loan Balance: According to Risk Center data, as of November 2024, the non-performing receivables from personal loans, including personal credit cards, rose by 146% compared to the same period last year, totaling 116 billion TL.
