Atalay Gümrah Appointed as CEO of IGA Holding

Atalay Gümrah has been appointed as the CEO of IGA Holding A.Ş., the parent company established in March 2024 for IGA Istanbul Airport, a leading brand in the global aviation sector, which is strengthening its title as a global transfer hub. Gümrah will assume his new role on January 15, 2025.

After graduating from Galatasaray High School, Gümrah completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University. He began his professional career in 1992 at the Eczacıbaşı Group. Gümrah took on significant responsibilities in various positions at Ekom, Vitra UK, EBM Jsc in Russia, and İntema, which are part of the Eczacıbaşı Group.

Following his role as a senior executive in the companies of Eczacıbaşı Building Products Group, Gümrah served as the CEO of the Eczacıbaşı Group and General Manager of Eczacıbaşı Holding A.Ş. from February 2017 to December 2024.

Fluent in English, Italian, and French, Gümrah is married and has two children. The establishment of IGA Holding A.Ş. in March 2024 aims to achieve a much more effective position internationally, along with IGA Airport Operations A.Ş. and all other group companies.
