Isbank Appoints Banks for Dollar-Denominated Capital-Like Bond Issuance

Foreks - İş Bankası (IS:ISCTR) has authorized a group of banks consisting of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates NBD Capital, JP Morgan Securities, Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), Societe Generale, and Standard Chartered Bank to hold a series of meetings with global investors.

In a statement made to KAP, it was indicated: "Our bank has authorized a group of banks consisting of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates NBD Capital, JP Morgan Securities, Morgan Stanley, Societe Generale, and Standard Chartered Bank to hold a series of meetings with global investors starting on January 7, 2025. Depending on the suitability of market conditions, following these investor meetings, the issue of issuing debt instruments (AT1) that can be included in additional equity in US Dollar, in accordance with Article 7 titled ‘Additional Core Capital’ of the Regulation on Banks' Equity, will be evaluated."
