CFTC Chairman Rostin Behnam to Step Down in February

Rostin Behnam, the Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), has announced that he will resign from his position on January 20. According to a statement from the derivatives market regulator made on Tuesday, he will officially leave the commission on February 7 following his resignation. During his tenure, Behnam has been a strong advocate for legislation that positions the CFTC as the primary regulator of Bitcoin.
