Chemours Shares Surge as Google VP Joins Board of Directors

Chemours shares experienced a significant increase of up to 10% in intraday trading following the announcement that Google’s Vice President of Data Centers, Joseph Kava, has been appointed to the board. This increase marked the largest single-day gain for the chemical company since November. "Joe’s addition brings a deep and wide range of skills and experience in technology, particularly in data centers and semiconductors, which will further enhance the implementation of Chemours' business strategy," said Chemours Chairman Dawn Farrell in a press release.
