Nvidia CEO Ready to Meet with the President to Discuss AI Policy

Investing.com -- Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia Corp., the world's most valuable chip manufacturer, indicated his readiness to meet with newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump and support the new administration. In an interview with Bloomberg Television, Huang expressed his pleasure at congratulating the President and contributing to the success of his administration.

As a leader in the global artificial intelligence (AI) boom, Huang has the potential to influence AI policy during this period of rapid technological change. Nvidia is working to accelerate the global rollout of advanced AI systems, many of which rely on the company's industry-leading chips.

The newly elected President had previously suggested that he might impose trade tariffs that could impact companies heavily reliant on overseas sales and outsourced production, such as Nvidia. The company is currently subject to restrictions that hinder the export of some of its most powerful and profitable chips to China, which is the largest market in the semiconductor industry.

Huang promised to provide as much insight as possible from Nvidia's perspective to assist the administration. He expressed confidence that the administration would make appropriate decisions.
