Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba and SoftBank CEO Son Discuss Trump’s Policies Over Dinner

Forex - In Japan, Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba met with Masayoshi Son, Chairman and CEO of SoftBank Group Corp., at a dinner in Tokyo to discuss the economic policies and artificial intelligence strategy of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.

The dinner was also attended by Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Yoji Muto.

After the meal, Son told reporters that Ishiba emphasized the importance of Japan-U.S. relations and expressed his desire for Son to share his insights on the matter. Son mentioned that during their meeting in the United States last December, he had conveyed his impressions and exchanges with Trump.
