Özyaşar GES Initiates Environmental Impact Assessment Process for Erkenek8 Solar Project

The environmental impact assessment process has begun for the Özyaşar GES Erkenek8 solar power project, planned by Özyaşar Tel (IS:OZYSR).

In a statement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission, and Supervision, the following information was provided:

"The Özyaşar GES Erkenek8 project, which is planned to be constructed by Özyaşar Tel and Galvanizing Industry Joint Stock Company, is located at parcel number 631, block 119 in the Akmağara neighborhood of Doğanşehir district, Malatya province, and has a planned installed capacity of 8.073 MWm/7.000 MWe. The P.T.D. file submitted to our Governorship of Malatya has been reviewed in accordance with Article 16 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation, and the EIA process for the project has commenced."
