Bonna, Turkey’s first 100% HoReCa brand, has chosen Uzbekistan for its new investment. The brand purchased a factory set on 56 acres, with 29,000 square meters of closed area in Tashkent, targeting the porcelain needs of Central Asia, Russia, and surrounding countries. Kar Porselen will invest over 25 million dollars for the Uzbekistan factory, which will provide access to neighboring markets in the region. The porcelain brand will create over three hundred jobs in Uzbekistan, one of the largest domestic markets in Central Asia with a population of approximately 36 million, and when the factory reaches full production capacity, it is expected to deliver around 1.5 million products to the sector each month.

"We will become an important player in the Central Asian market!"

Bonna General Manager Erbil Aşkan stated that with this new investment they aim to meet the porcelain needs of Central Asia, Russia, and surrounding countries and become a significant player in the region. "With a population of about 36 million, Uzbekistan is one of the largest domestic markets in Central Asia and is strategically located in the heart of the region. Due to its logistical advantages that facilitate both production and access to other countries in the region, it serves as an important center for entering neighboring markets. By investing in Uzbekistan, which has adopted an investor-friendly approach especially in recent years with economic reforms, we will reach more countries with our quality, aesthetic, and extraordinary products and become an important player in the Central Asian market," he said.
