OpenAI CEO Sam Altman Denies Sexual Abuse Allegations, Reports Reuters

Investing.com -- OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman has denied allegations of sexual abuse against his sister Ann Altman during their childhood, as reported by Reuters on Wednesday.

According to the report, Ann Altman filed a lawsuit in a U.S. District Court in Missouri, claiming that her brother regularly sexually abused her from 1997 to 2006. The lawsuit includes allegations of sexual assault and harassment, stating that the abuse began when Ann was three years old and her brother was 12, and continued even after Sam Altman reached adulthood during Ann’s underage years.

In response to these allegations, Sam Altman, along with his mother and two brothers, issued a joint statement on January 7, saying, "All of these allegations are completely false."

Attempts to reach Altman and the law firm representing his sister outside of business hours were unsuccessful. According to the report, the lawsuit filed by his sister seeks more than $75,000 in damages, punitive damages, and legal costs, and also calls for a jury trial.
