Which Stocks Gained the Most on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 continued its downward trend today.

Although the BIST 100 index tested the 10,000 point level during the morning session, it retreated to around 9,930 points as selling pressure increased from that level. The index, which saw a low of 9,900 points during the day, is currently trading around 9,940 points with a decrease of approximately 0.3% in the last hour.

The index excluding BIST 100 recorded a greater loss, exceeding half a point, indicating more selling activity. In terms of sectors, communication, SMEs, and trade were among the sectors that remained positive today. Sports, factoring, and electricity were recorded as the sectors that declined the most during the day.

Across Borsa Istanbul, EGGUB, RTALB, and SAMAT stocks were among the top gainers today. The FLAP stock, which dropped to the lower limit price, became the biggest loser, followed by ALMAD and PATEK.

Domestically, the dollar/TL continues its horizontal movement at 35.36. The euro/TL is trading at 36.44 with a partial decrease of 0.2%, while the gram gold price has risen again, trading around 3,030 TL by the evening hours.

In foreign markets, European indices are mostly moving downwards as the close approaches. Among US indices, the S&P 500 and Dow Jones opened in the negative, while Nasdaq started with a flat opening.
