The Amount of Supervision Applied to Citric Acid Imports Has Been Reduced
The surveillance application amount applied to the import of citric acid has been reduced. A communiqué prepared by the Ministry of Trade has been published in the official gazette. Accordingly, the surveillance practice, which has been applied at a unit customs value of 2.5 USD/kg since October 25, 2022, will be applied at a rate of 1.5 USD/kg from this date onward. In another communiqué from the Ministry of Trade, anti-dumping measures have been imposed on the import of citric acid originating from China. As a result of the conducted investigation, it was determined that the import of the product under investigation from China was being dumped and caused harm to the domestic production sector. Accordingly, it has been decided to apply definitive measures against dumping in the import of the specified items to Turkey at the rates shown in the table below.
